This double green glaze was the result of a happy experiment. A very bright green glaze is applied in a pattern under a more muted green. The juicy result is quite unlike either of the component glazes.
This glaze experiment launched a thousand ships! I am in the process of making nearly 7,000 test tiles, to test each of the glazes and underglazes I use over and under each other on each of the 4 clay bodies I use.
