Recently, I tried another round of test tiles, but included several new glazes I had acquired. Generally, the results were totally unsatisfactory. However, these two new glazes, used without modification, combined to form a subtle effect that really appeals to me. Both glazes "flash" to color the deep red clay into the deep brown cross hatch pattern that separates them.
