Double blue mosaic pattern glazed bowl.
This bowl is made with Navajo Wheel, a classic deep red clay body.
What interests me is that both of the glazes I have used here "flash", so that they "discolor" the unglazed line between the mosaic pattern. It becomes an almost brown-black with a slightly metalic sheen----but this effect only works like this on the deep red clay.
